South Wales Camp

Camp 2020

Camp2016Our Summer Camp is an annual highlight for the vast majority of children who attend and for some, one of the high spots of their lives – even when they look back in later years. It is a great prospect for children and teens to leave home and spend a week on holiday and they can bring their friends too. (Parents get a very well deserved rest too, knowing their children are having a ball!) Children and teenagers from 8 to 17 are looked after in a simply amazing setting with top class facilities and rewarding activities which always leaves the campers wanting more. The site can cater for around 80 people, but it is likely to be even more popular than before now we have a new location and places are likely to fill up quickly so you will need to get a form in early if you wish to attend.

Summer Camp 2020 will begin on Sunday 19th July and end on Saturday 25th July. Children will be picked up by the coach on the Sunday morning and returned on the Saturday around lunchtime. Times will depend on which Youth Club you attend and more information will be available in the information pack closer to the time.

Evenings where parents can find out more about camp are scheduled by the various youth clubs in the spring of each year. For more information about these please speak to your local youth club leader.

We are so excited to have secured the site at the St Madoc’s Centre on the north coast of the Gower Peninsula for the second year running. It is a purpose built youth camp site in an area of true beauty. The landscape is wonderful and the coast is only a walk of merely minutes away. The beach is superb, and very quiet; well-off the normal touristy attraction parts of the south Gower. You can find out more information about the site here, we’ll leave you to enjoy what they have to say about the site and location.
