Summer Camp 2020: Covid-19 Update
Sadly, as there is still so much uncertainty around Covid-19, the Camp Committee have decided that it is not feasible to run Summer Camp this year.
The St Madoc Centre are willing to have the centre open if regulations permit, but it would be subject to social distancing requirements, the wearing of PPE and other such rules and precautions they have outlined to us.
Keeping children and staff safe on a residential week is a priority and not something we feel able to guarantee.
The Committee is very disappointed that this is the situation but feel that the safety of all involved is paramount. We are looking to see if some safe alternatives can be organised during parts of some days of that week that would have been Camp week, without compromising safety regulations. We will be in touch nearer the date concerning what we have decided.
